Cairn’s Leader in Training program is an amazing program made to help develop extraordinary leaders in today’s world. Our July LITs spend the month at Glen Mhor’s LIT site; a special site built just for the LITs, a little way from centre camp. LITs will spend a month together learning the ins and outs of, not only how to be an effective camp counsellor, but also what it takes to make positive changes to the world beyond camp. These young leaders will build community on a five day canoe trip, attend lessons that will lead to attaining their Bronze Medallion and/or Bronze Cross swimming qualifications, get a chance to work in a cabin with children, develop skills–such as, belaying a climber and anti-bullying techniques–as well as have an amazing month full of fun, faith and friendship.
