Iona’s Junior Co-Ed is a great way for campers to come play, learn and grow with us in the outdoors. Many of our Junior campers are first-time campers and both campers and parents may be nervous about a wilderness camp experience. Some ways in which we’re ready to make a week at Iona the best time of your Junior camper’s life are: with lots of age-appropriate activities; training our staff to deal with and comfort children who are missing home; reminding campers to do little things like brushing teeth and hanging up wet bathing suits; serving delicious and healthy food that even the pickiest of eaters will appreciate; keeping kids safe through proper supervision, anti-bullying techniques, and First Aid Kits with every staff member. Plus, your Junior camper will get in touch with the outdoors through wilderness camping and cooking and get to experience an overnight canoe trip to our nearby island!
