At Cairn, we have a number of opportunities for campers aged 7 to 10 to come play, learn and grow with us. Many of our Junior campers are first-time campers and both campers and parents may be nervous about a residential camp experience. Being a away from home for a whole week is a big deal whether you’re a 7 year old camper or a 37 year old parent. We understand. Some ways in which we’re ready to make a week at Cairn the best time of your Junior camper’s life are: with lots of age-appropriate activities; training our staff to deal with and comfort children who are missing home; reminding campers to do little things like brushing teeth, hanging up wet bathing suits and keeping track of pajamas; serving delicious and healthy food that even the pickiest of eaters will appreciate; keeping kids safe through proper supervision, anti-bullying techniques, and First Aid Kits with every staff member. With so many fun things to do and learn about at camp, we’re sure your Junior camper will want to keep coming back year after year!
